telc
As a licensed telc examination center with the title "Competence Center University", we offer examinations regularly. We offer at least one examination date per month and focus on the telc A1, B2 and telc C1 university examinations.
The telc C1 Hochschule exam is recognized nationwide by all universities and colleges for university admission.
We offer the telc foreign language examinations in addition to the telc German examinations. Our most popular exam offered is in English!
You can take telc at Alpha Aktiv on the following dates. You will receive the exam result within 6 – 8 weeks with a detailed certificate about your language skills. Are you interested in a specific date? Feel free to get in touch with us here to discuss a suitable time.
TestDaF
As one of Germany's most extensive examination centers with over 100 participants per examination, we are happy to offer any regular examination date for the TestDaF.
The TestDaF is an internationally standardized test. It is accepted as an admission test at all universities in Germany as it tests the four language skills of reading, listening, writing, and speaking. Unlike the DSH, which each university designs and administers, the TestDaF offers the opportunity to compare German language skills at an international level. It can prove whether the test taker has the necessary language skills to cope in the scientific and academic fields. You must possess sufficient German language competency to study at a German university or college as an international student, which is possible with the TestDaF.
Would you like to prepare intensively for the TestDaF? We offer suitable preparation courses!
You can take the TestDaF at Alpha Aktiv on the fixed dates. Within six weeks, you will receive your exam result with a detailed certificate about your language skills.
The TestDaF can be taken at our examination center in digital form, i.e. entirely on the computer. Through this, you will receive your exam result within four weeks.
Internal exams
For all individuals who want to write an exam but do not need international recognition, we recommend our internal exam according to the GER standard for all levels (A1 to C1). This exam permits participants to apply to a university with a passed B2 exam.

Within our task as a licensed telc examination center, we also offer the telc foreign language examinations in addition to the telc German examinations. Especially the telc English exam is very popular with us.
TOEFL ITP/ TOEIC foreign language exam
As part of our test center license from LTS (Language Testing Service), we offer to administer all language exams supported by LTS on-site at our language school, including TOEFL-ITP and TOEIC.
Please find out in advance which test is relevant for you. If you are not sure, we will be happy to advise you.
You can choose the dates flexibly for these exams. Please note that you must register for the exam through us at least two weeks in advance.

telc B1, B2 and C1 Hochschule can be taken at Alpha Aktiv on the following dates. Within 4 - 6 weeks you will receive the result of your exam with a detailed certificate about your language skills.

TOEFL/ TOEIC Examination Dates
For these exams the dates can be chosen flexibly. The only thing to note is that the exam must be registered by us at least 2 weeks in advance.

FAQs: Frequently asked questions about our offers
Our morning classes start at 9 a.m. and finish at 12.15 p.m, with a 15-minute break in between. Our afternoon classes begin at 12.30 p.m. and end at 3.45 p.m which also includes a 15-minute break in between.
If you will not get the visa, please send us the rejection letter and we will have a look, how we could help you. In case that you definitely won’t get visa, we will keep 25% of the course fees, but a maximum of 300€ + 50€ registration fee. The rest will be paid back.
Please also note that you need to tell us 4 weeks in advance, if you do not need the accommodation (if booked).
Of course! We want you to feel comfortable in class. So whenever you feel like it isn't the right level for you, talk to us and we will make sure to place you in an appropriate class.
The deposit and endcleaning fee will be added to the rent.
If you have already taken some German before, you can join in the middle of a course that has already begun. If you are an absolute beginner, we recommend starting from the initial level.
If you delay your trip for any reason, you can also join the course online in advance, or we will postpone your starting date.
The teachers make copies of in-class material; however, you need to buy the books for the class. Ask us which books you need, and we will provide you with all the information you prepare so that you can benefit from our classes right from the start.
